So I have been collecting certain swooping images for a series of images of canopies. I have just been looking for a new look at swooping photos (at least for me), and these images have lent themselves very nicely to this developing style. The sun is particularly interesting in the photos where I was facing the sun. And there is the thrill of laying down or kneeling while a swooper is barreling down at you at full speed. Like the 3rd photo of Scott Roberts, he is only a foot away from my head, a tribute to the skill these athletes have and to my stupidity for being a target. So this is just myself wanting to treat some skydiving photos more like fine art than just a sporting or extreme sport pictures. Performance Designs should be happy anyway! I might have to send a print or 2 their way...
As this series comes together I will post again.
